Stipend Position: LinkUp Community Organizer for Brookland Manor

LinkUp is seeking applications from Brookland Manor residents for a youth Community Organizer to support on-the-ground campaign work led by the Brookland Manor/Brentwood Village Resident Association. The organizer selected will receive training from experienced LinkUp organizers, and will work under the direction of LinkUp and the Brookland Manor/Brentwood Village Residents Association Board. Responsibilities will include flyering, collecting video interviews, petition signatures, and other campaign-related work in the community. Stipend position. 5-10 hours/week at $20/hr.

Information session

LinkUp and the Residents Association will host an information session for interested youth to announce the position, answer questions, and hand out applications. An interview process will follow, and a candidate will be selected/announced by the organizations jointly.


Experienced LinkUp organizers and Residents Association leaders will provide training and educational materials regarding the campaign for protecting affordable housing in the community.
